xって何？2本の線が交わるところでパズルを解こう

代数はパズルみたいなものです：謎の数（x）があって、それが何かを見つけます。x + 3 = 7 なら、3を足すと7になる数を探します。答え？x = 4。4 + 3 = 7 だから。

でもすごいのは、答えをグラフで見ることができること。y = x + 3 を1本の線として、y = 7 をもう1本として描きます。交わるところが答えです。

この授業では、代数パズルを視覚的に解きます。簡単なものから始めてだんだん難しく。ルールを覚える必要なし——線が出会うところを見つければ、方程式が解けます！
