What We Collect

Signed-in users: When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile photo to identify your account. We also store your lesson progress and daily usage counts.

Anonymous users: We use a randomly generated cookie to track daily usage limits. We do not collect personally identifiable information from anonymous users.

All users: We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, feature usage). No personal data is shared with advertisers.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to provide the service: authenticating your account, enforcing daily usage limits, saving lesson progress, and improving the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.

AI Conversations

Messages you send to the AI assistant are forwarded to third-party AI providers to generate responses. These messages are not stored permanently on our servers. AI providers may process your messages according to their own privacy policies.

Do not share sensitive personal information, passwords, or confidential data in AI conversations.

Voice Input

When you use voice input, your audio is sent to a third-party speech recognition service for transcription. Audio is processed in real time and is not stored after transcription.

Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Signing out removes your session; deleting your account removes all stored data permanently.

Children's Privacy

MathTalking is an educational tool suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
